Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a valued position supporting students' academic and emotional success with this contract opportunity for school psychologists, serving a diverse K-12 population. You'll collaborate with educators and families across three school buildings, contributing your assessment expertise as you help create educational plans tailored to each child's needs. Your days will span from 7:45 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, in a fulfilling 35-hour workweek. The assignment runs from August 17th through May 28th, offering you the chance to make a meaningful connection with students throughout the full school year. Expect a manageable caseload of 20-25 students, allowing you to focus on quality support and personalized interventions.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist required Experience working within K-12 settings is preferred Strong understanding of cognitive assessments and individualized education plans (IEPs) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and students Ability to manage and organize a moderate caseload Detail-oriented with strong documentation abilitiesCore Responsibilities:
Conduct cognitive and academic assessments to identify student strengths and areas of growth Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Provide consultation and guidance to staff and families to support student learning Participate in team meetings and contribute to decision-making around student placements and supports Maintain clear, timely, and thorough documentation for each case This is a fully onsite role, offering you the rewarding chance to impact lives in person each day.
