Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for a skilled School Psychologist to make a significant impact in a high school environment near Saint Charles, IL! This contract role spans the academic year, running from August 10, 2026, through May 14, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 7:30AM to 3:00PM. The position focuses on supporting approximately 30 high school students, working collaboratively to promote mental and academic wellness.
Key Qualifications:
Active Illinois School Psychologist license required Previous experience in high school educational settings preferred Strong assessment, counseling, and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families Must be willing and able to work onsite throughout the assignment
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning and emotional health Provide crisis intervention and conflict resolution strategies as needed Maintain timely documentation and records compliance with district and state standards Foster an inclusive, positive school atmosphere where all students feel heard and supported
