Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a School Psychologist working with a K-12 population. This full-time contract role provides the chance to support learners through evaluations and assessments and collaborate with education professionals to promote student well-being. The position offers a 37.5-hour work week and is located near Gaffney, SC.
Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist license in South Carolina Certification as School Psychologist II Experience conducting student evaluations and psychological assessments Comfortable working with a diverse K-12 caseload Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct and interpret cognitive, academic, and social-emotional assessments to identify student needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement intervention strategies Prepare clear, comprehensive reports summarizing assessment findings and recommendations Participate in eligibility meetings and IEP/504 Plan processes Offer crisis intervention and counseling services as needed Maintain confidential records and adhere to ethical guidelines and district policies
