Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available for the 2026/2027 school year, serving K-12 students in Grand Island, NE. This contract position offers the chance to support the mental health and educational success of students across all grade levels within a school setting.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify students' learning and behavioral needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide counseling and intervention services to support student well-being and academic achievement Assist in crisis intervention and behavior management plans Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure the best outcomes for students Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctorate degree in School Psychology Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure in Nebraska Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment preferred Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff
