Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by supporting students across three school buildings nearby Lexington, IL! This rewarding contract opportunity begins on August 17th and continues through May 28th, offering you the chance to foster growth and advocate for K-12 learners. You will enjoy a consistent weekday schedule, working 35 hours per week from 7:45 am to 3:30 pm, and play a crucial role in helping students thrive academically and emotionally.
Your Experience and Qualifications:
Certification as a School Psychologist Previous experience within schools or with K-12 populations is highly valued Strong skills in cognitive assessment and familiarity with IEP development Ability to manage a caseload of 20-25 students across varied grade levels Excellent communication and collaboration with teachers, families, and staff Adaptable, reliable, and passionate about supporting student success
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct cognitive and academic assessments for K-12 students Lead and participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Develop, implement, and monitor interventions aligned with individual goals Provide consultative support to teachers and parents Maintain documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Build trust and rapport with students to advocate for their needs As an onsite contributor, you'll experience the fulfillment of seeing the difference your expertise makes in real time. The caseload is thoughtfully designed for quality attention to each student, and you'll work with supportive colleagues dedicated to positive outcomes.
