A contract opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support the academic and emotional development of students in a school setting located in Pearland, TX. This role requires a compassionate and skilled professional dedicated to assessing student needs and collaborating with educators and families to foster a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student learning, behavioral, and emotional needs Develop and implement intervention strategies in collaboration with teachers, counselors, and parents Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral challenges Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with district and state regulations Assist in crisis intervention and prevention activities as necessary Stay current on best practices, laws, and regulations pertaining to school psychologyQualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience with a variety of assessment tools and intervention techniques Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff Ability to manage caseloads independently and prioritize diverse responsibilities Knowledge of state and federal special education regulationsLocation:
