Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, supporting elementary students for a full academic year. Based onsite in a vibrant school community near Bellevue, NE, you'll play a vital role in helping young learners succeed academically, socially, and emotionally from August 13, 2026, through May 27, 2027. This assignment provides 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to make a sustained, meaningful impact in one consistent setting.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or equivalent Experience working with elementary-aged populations in educational settings Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills Ability to collaborate with students, families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication abilities
What You'll Do:
Conduct and interpret psychoeducational assessments to inform individualized education plans (IEPs) and support student growth Provide direct interventions, counseling, and crisis response for students as needed Participate actively in
RTI/MTSS
processes and support positive behavioral interventions Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create a supportive learning environment Serve as an advocate for students' emotional health and provide expert guidance on behavioral and academic strategies Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in alignment with school and district policies Perks of the
