Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students' success across elementary and middle schools as a School Psychologist. This onsite role offers a chance to make an impact for the 2026-2027 academic year, with a possibility of extension into the 2025-2026 ESY. With two positions available, you'll serve a diverse student population from PreK through 12th grade, contributing to their academic, social, and emotional development.
What you bring:
Active Michigan School Psychologist license (please be prepared to provide a screenshot as proof) Experience working across a variety of grade levels, ideally with both elementary and middle school students Ability to perform the full range of school psychologist responsibilities independently Commitment to professional standards and confidentiality Strong communication, assessment, and consultation skills Flexibility in adapting to the needs of students and school staff What you'll do: Conduct thorough psychoeducational assessments and provide comprehensive recommendations Participate actively in multidisciplinary teams, supporting IEP development and compliance Deliver direct and indirect student support, including crisis intervention and counseling as needed Collaborate with teachers, specialists, administrators, and families to foster student growth Assist in the development and implementation of positive behavior intervention plans Maintain accurate records and timely documentation required by school and state standards What sets this role apart: Choose your work schedule within the standard school day to suit your personal and professional needs Steady 35-hour work week in a supportive educational environment Opportunity to work with a broad spectrum of students and collaborate closely with dedicated education professionals If you're a licensed School Psychologist ready for a rewarding contract assignment making a difference in students' lives, we want to hear from you.
