Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where your expertise as a School Psychologist will make a real difference in students' lives. Engage meaningfully with students, collaborate with educators, and help foster supportive learning environments in a dynamic school setting near Monon, IN.
Essential Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist credential or license, as required by the state Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field Experience conducting psychological and educational assessments Strong background in creating and presenting evaluation reports Excellent communication skills; able to interact effectively with students, parents, and school staff Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans Previous school-based experience preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to develop intervention strategies Interpret assessment results and communicate recommendations to IEP teams Provide direct counseling, interventions, and crisis management as needed Support the development and implementation of behavior management plans Monitor student progress and modify interventions as appropriate Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
