Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a dedicated School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity focuses on supporting the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students through expert psychological services and collaboration with fellow educators. The in-person position offers a school-year schedule and is perfect for those passionate about fostering growth and resilience in young learners.
Requirements and Desired Experience:
Active state licensure or certification in School Psychology as required by law Completion of required state and educational/clinical credentials Previous experience as a School Psychologist in educational settings preferred Familiarity with a range of assessment tools and intervention strategies Strong communication and collaboration skills Must be able to work in person throughout the school year
Role Highlights and Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive psychological services to support students' mental health and academic achievement Conduct assessments and evaluations, developing individualized education or intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic student support Participate in student support meetings, IEP development, and progress monitoring Deliver crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation as needed Engage in professional development and maintain compliance with all current standards
