Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a genuine impact supporting K-12 students as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist throughout an innovative school district in the Dover, PA area. This contract position spans multiple school locations, offering variety and the chance to work hands-on with learners ranging from kindergarten through high school. The role is full-time, running the length of the 2026-2027 academic year (August 18, 2026 - May 27, 2027), with a weekday schedule totaling 35 hours per week.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology Certification Current Pennsylvania teaching certification (must be submitted with resume) Experience working with K-12 populations, preferably across diverse educational settings Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Commitment to onsite work; virtual placements are not being offered
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services to students across multiple schools, addressing articulation, fluency, language, voice, and social communication needs Conduct evaluations to identify speech and language issues, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Work closely with general and special education teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student's growth Document progress, maintain compliance with district guidelines, and participate in IEP meetings Provide consultation and resources to school staff regarding speech and language development
