Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide crucial support across all grade levels ranging from kindergarten through high school. You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact working onsite, serving students who benefit from your skill and passion for helping them achieve their communication goals. This full-time, contract position covers the entire academic year from August 17, 2026, to May 28, 2027, with a consistent 35-hour workweek.
Required Skills and Experience:
Holds valid Pennsylvania SLP Certification and Teaching Certification (must be submitted with resume) SLP-CCC credentials required Previous experience in K-12 school settings preferred Proficient in a variety of assessment and intervention strategies tailored for educational environments Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide building-wide speech-language services in a school-based setting (onsite only) Support students from kindergarten through 12th grade with assessments, individual/group therapy, and ongoing progress monitoring Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with team members Engage with teachers and families to address student needs and support inclusive practices Maintain compliance with state and program guidelines for documentation and service delivery Those who thrive in this environment are committed to supporting educational success, eager to foster positive student outcomes, and comfortable working with diverse student populations.
