Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract assignment for the 2026-2027 academic year, supporting students across two sites near Fayette, MS. This Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is perfectly suited for professionals with their CCC credential who are passionate about making a meaningful impact in educational settings. With two full-time positions available and the chance to engage with a diverse student caseload, you'll be a valuable resource for communication development within the school community.
Key Qualifications:
Current SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Recent experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred Familiarity with providing speech-language services in accordance with IEPs and educational standards Solid documentation and organizational skills Ability to collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school staff
Your Day-to-Day Impact:
Deliver vital speech-language intervention and therapy to a caseload of 60-70 students Rotate between two school locations, creating supportive learning environments at each Conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and document progress towards IEP goals Consult with multidisciplinary teams and participate in relevant meetings Offer support and education to teachers and caregivers to enhance student outcomes Why Consider This Role?
