Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract A school-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available in Huffman, TX. This contract position supports speech therapy services within an educational setting, assisting licensed speech-language pathologists in implementing treatment plans designed to improve students' communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist speech-language pathologists in delivering speech therapy services to students. Implement treatment plans under supervision to support individual student progress. Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records. Collaborate with educators and other school staff to support student needs. Participate in team meetings and contribute to student assessments as appropriate.
Qualifications and Experience:
Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) as required by state regulations. Experience working with students in school environments preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to follow therapist directions and adapt to individual student needs. Commitment to supporting student development and education goals.
