Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity, supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference, working with a diverse caseload to empower young learners in their communication development. With two immediate full-time openings available, those with SLP-CCC credentials will join a collaborative school environment where their expertise is highly valued. Opportunities span 1-2 nearby elementary locations, providing variety and the chance to broaden your impact. With a Monday through Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week, you'll enjoy stability while honing your skills and advancing your career.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility in the state Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required Experience working with elementary populations preferred Skilled in administering assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and implementing targeted interventions Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Assess students' communication skills and language abilities Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families Contribute to case conferences and participate in team meetings as needed Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for students of all backgrounds
