Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role making a true impact on young learners in an Intensive Pre-School Classroom setting. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to engage with a supportive educational environment, focusing on helping students achieve their communication goals at a single elementary school. Work on-site, collaborating with fellow professionals to create individualized, effective educational experiences for preschool-aged children. There's an opportunity to mentor and guide SLPAs, while partnering closely with teachers, administrators, and families. Candidates with
ESL, ELL
training, or a Linguistically Diverse Education Endorsement will find their expertise is especially valued here.Key Qualifications:
Active SLP Licensure and current CO Department of Education Certification required SLP-CCC preferred; strong Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF) candidates considered Knowledge of IEP processes and experience with assessments and ongoing service delivery Strong preference for training or endorsement in ELL, ESL, or Linguistically Diverse Education Solid communication skills and willingness to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team Interest in supporting and providing guidance to SLPAs a plusResponsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy for intensive pre-school classroom students Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and monitor progress Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student achievement Supervise and mentor SLPAs as needed Maintain organized documentation and participate in all relevant meetings Perks include the stability of a full-time, school-based schedule with time to build enriching relationships. This assignment begins this spring and runs through the school year.
