Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an impactful role as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving K-4th grade students for the upcoming school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic student population, making a meaningful difference in developing crucial communication skills at a formative stage of learning. The assignment begins August 17, 2026, and continues through November 20, 2026, with a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week.
Qualifications & Experience:
Hold an active Speech-Language Pathologist license for Michigan Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred Skilled communicator with the ability to connect with young children and collaborate with educators and families Strong organizational and documentation abilities Not accepting SLP Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) for this position
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapeutic services to students in grades K-4 Create individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations to help students succeed academically and socially Deliver services in both individual and group settings, adapting approaches to student needs This opportunity allows you to support and empower early learners while working within a collaborative school environment.
