Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) eager to make a difference in K-4 student learning for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This contract position is located close to Mason, MI, with easy access to the surrounding communities. The assignment runs from August 17, 2026, through November 20, 2026, offering a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week. You'll play a vital role in supporting early elementary students and collaborating closely with educational teams.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist license for Michigan Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Prior experience working with elementary-aged students (K-4th grade) in a school setting Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities SLP Clinical Fellows (SLP-CFs) are not being considered for this assignment
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech and language services to K-4th grade students Evaluate students and develop individualized intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams for effective student support Maintain accurate progress records and participate in IEP meetings Deliver engaging therapy tailored to elementary school needs Support inclusive classroom strategies and provide staff consultations as needed This role offers the chance to grow your expertise within a supportive and mission-driven educational environment while having a positive daily impact on young learners.
