Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school setting as an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting a diverse range of students within a vibrant community. This full-time contract role spans the 2026-2027 academic year, offering hands-on experience at multiple schools with exposure to a variety of age groups and caseloads. Preferred candidates thrive in on-site environments and are prepared to collaborate under the guidance of an engaged team. The assignment will be tailored with your commute in mind, so providing your zip code during the application process will help match you with optimal schools.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Current, active FL SLP license Experience in a school setting is preferred Adaptive communication skills and comfort working with both individual students and groups Ability to organize and manage caseloads across multiple schools Flexibility to work with varying age groups and communication needs Willingness to participate in a prescreen interview to ensure the best fit
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders Develop customized treatment plans and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings as required Maintain up-to-date records in line with compliance and district policies Foster a supportive learning atmosphere that encourages student growth Take advantage of the opportunity to make a genuine difference in students' lives across various campuses.
