Type:

full-time Lawhon & Associates, Inc. (L&A) is seeking on-call field technicians for future projects located in Ohio and neighboring states. Any required overtime will be paid at time and a half. Compensation is $20-$22 per hour. L&A provides cash per diem and single occupancy lodging (5 days per week) throughout the duration of out of town projects. Travel to and from the selected hotel to the site will be provided each day. Opportunities are available throughout 2026 and beyond. Qualifications Minimum requirements include an Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Archaeology, or a related field; field school or archaeological field experience is preferred. The ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, sufficient physical endurance to conduct standard archaeological excavation techniques, attention to detail, work reliability, and the ability to work well with others are essential to the position.
