Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited university in archaeology, anthropology, or a closely related field (required to meet SOI (Secretary of Interior) Standards). 5+ years of professional experience in cultural resource management Demonstrated experience in archaeological fieldwork and monitoring Demonstrated experience in data collection and technical report writing for specialized archaeological deliverables, such as technical memorandums, monitoring reports, and treatment/discovery plans Demonstrated experience in Section 106 consultation with SHPO, Native Hawaiian Organizations, and/or Tribes Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel)Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years' experience writing NEPA cultural resource sections Experience with GIS data collection software Experience with environmental compliance and permitting specifically for Department of Defense (DoD) projects Ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment Strong initiative, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving abilities under tight deadlinesSecurity Clearance Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain aSecret Security Clearance Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations Ability to conduct site visits and fieldwork in various environments related to cultural resource assessments is also required The projected compensation range for this position is $83,300.00-$139,800.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
