$30-$35/HR Responsibilities Collect samples and prepare hair swatches for testing in accordance with established procedures. Perform technical procedures to evaluate product performance on hair using a variety of laboratory equipment and instrumentation. Analyze experimental data, perform statistical calculations, and draw conclusions to support product claims. Accurately document experimental work and prepare reports on product evaluations in accordance with company policies, procedures, and standards. Maintain organized and adequately stocked laboratory consumables and supplies. Assemble, disassemble, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment as needed. Assist with the research and development of new testing methods and exploratory claims substantiation. Analyze consumer insights and survey data to identify trends and support the development of new claims language. Maintain and organize internal documentation and records within the company database. Qualifications College degree in a science-related field or equivalent laboratory experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and File Explorer. Ability to learn and become proficient with various laboratory instrumentation software. Ability to carefully follow established procedures and experimental designs. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity when handling instruments and laboratory samples. Demonstrated integrity and consistency in performing laboratory tasks to produce accurate and repeatable data.
