Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Student Assistant in the Department of Pharmacology, Physiology & Neuroscience within the New Jersey Medical School ( NJMS ). The primary purpose of the Student Assistant position is to, under direction, performs and assists with laboratory services and procedures in support of research activities of the laboratory. Among the key duties of this position are the following: Ensures that glassware and equipment are kept clean and are properly stored; keeps laboratory clean Prepares stock solutions and buffers Assists with the maintenance of the laboratory facilities, equipment and instruments. Initiates inventory control of laboratory supplies, prepares and processes orders for supplies as needed. Understands and adheres to Rutgers' compliance standards as they appear in RBHS's Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct, and Conflict of Interest Policy. Performs other related duties, as assigned. FLSA Nonexempt Grade 99H Salary Details Minimum Salary 15.92 Mid Range Salary 75.00 Maximum Salary 150.00 Offer Information The final salary offer may be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's qualifications, experience, and expertise, and availability of department or grant funds to support the position.
