Job Title:
Cleanroom Technician Job Description Join our team as a Cleanroom Technician, working in a state-of-the-art clean room manufacturing environment. You will be part of an innovative team focused on creating biological medical devices derived from porcine liver. Your role will involve critical processes such as receiving, trimming, and preparing porcine livers, as well as ensuring a sterile environment for these operations. Responsibilities Receive and trim porcine livers for processing. Scoop and mix solutions for liver preparation. Decellurize porcine livers following established protocols. Create and cut specific pieces for medical devices. Sterilize and maintain the clean room environment. Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Essential Skills Experience working in a clean room setting for at least 6 months. Proficiency in sterile processing and aseptic techniques. Ability to follow SOPs in a GMP environment. Strong attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with cleanroom operations and sterilization processes. Background in chemistry or biology is advantageous. Experience working with tissue samples, particularly porcine or animal tissue, is a bonus. Reliable and hardworking with a positive attitude. Ability to lift up to 25lbs. Work Environment The role involves working directly with porcine livers and occasionally assisting with research and development involving porcine kidneys. The work environment is wet, and technicians are required to regularly lift weights up to 25lbs. The work schedule varies with decell weeks typically running Monday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Tuesday to Thursday from 6 AM to 3:30 PM, and Friday from 6 AM to noon or until 40 hours are completed. Packaging and non-decell weeks follow a standard Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of plymouth, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
