Job Summary Langan is seeking a Senior Biologist to join its collaborative team in Irvine, CA . This individual will serve a key role in conducting and leading biological resource assessments, special-status species surveys, vegetation mapping, nesting bird surveys, restoration monitoring, and biological construction monitoring throughout Southern California. In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams supporting infrastructure, energy, land development, transportation, water, and environmental restoration projects. Job Responsibilities Lead nesting bird surveys, biological resources and habitat suitability assessments, vegetation communities classification and mapping, plant and animal species inventories, special status plant and animal species surveys, jurisdictional delineations, resource constraints analyses, and tree surveys; Develop permit application packages for ACOE, CDFW, USFWS, and local agencies; Coordinate with field teams and project managers to implement permit conditions; Travel to job sites in remote locations; and, Work in construction environments where schedule, timeliness, and attention to detail are top priorities.
