RES/ Target hiring range for this position will be $63,480 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Job Summary:

A new postdoctoral position to conduct research into fundamental processes of the strict human pathogen Neisseria gonorrhoeae.

Please note:

Occasional weekends and evenings as requested and with some possible travel, as required.

Specific Responsibilities :

Conduct fundamental research into Neisseria gonorrhoeae Laboratory duties Professional training Miscellaneous Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

PhD or MD/PhD degree within the past three years. At least one first author publication in standard peer reviewed journals. Supportive recommendations from three faculty.

Minimum Competencies:

(Skills, knowledge, and abilities.) Basic molecular biology, biochemistry, or cell biology techniques. Ability to communicate scientific concepts in oral and written forms.

Preferred Qualifications:

PhD or MD/PhD degree within the past three years. At least one first author publication in standard peer reviewed journals. Supportive recommendations from three faculty.
