Job Description Purpose:
The primary functions of this position are conducting laboratory experiments and analysis in support of molecular toxicology studies.Key Responsibilities:
Proactively engage in independent research to explore, develop, troubleshoot, and refine novel cell, biochemical, and molecular biology assays/techniques tailored to critical project demands. Demonstrate expertise in a wide array of experimental techniques and data analysis methods. Generate, coordinate, and present pivotal data on toxicity mechanisms utilizing in vitro assays or new alternative methodologies (NAMs) as required. Efficiently analyze and interpret molecular toxicology data, ensuring timely communication of findings and insights to project stakeholders. Collaborate effectively to transfer in vitro platforms and methods across various key groups within AbbVie. Qualifications MS in cell/molecular biology, Molecular toxicology/Pharmacology, biochemistry, or a related field with 0-2+ yrs experience. BS in cell/molecular biology, Molecular toxicology/Pharmacology, biochemistry, or a related field with 0-2+ yrs experience Experience in basic cell culture and cell biology, biochemical, and molecular biology (RNA, DNA, protein) endpoints. Knowledge of spheroid/organoid culture/analysis is a plus Good analytical skills and knowledge in data analysis, interpretation, report writing, and communication (both written and oral) Practical knowledge of in vitro assay development and troubleshooting, ability to work in a rapid pace environment Experience with molecular model characterization and imaging endpoint a plus Knowledge of traditional scientific, statistical, and graphing software Additional Information Applicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state orlocal law: The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Companybelieves ingood faith it will pay for this role at thetimeofthis posting based on the job grade for this position.Individualcompensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographiclocation,andwemay ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
