Temporary - 6 months Our client in Westbrook is hiring a R&D Lab Associate to join their research team supporting innovative products that improve animal health worldwide. This opportunity offers $19.48/hour and is a 6-month temporary assignment with valuable hands-on experience in a professional laboratory environment. Typical daily duties:

Conduct laboratory testing and analyses on animal specimens, including sample processing and results reporting Execute and support instrument test protocols for new and existing products Maintain laboratory operations, including scheduling, equipment cleanliness, and general lab upkeep Manage inventory, procure supplies, and ensure consistent stocking of lab materials Support lab systems, databases, documentation, and accurate recordkeeping with basic data analysis Provide administrative support such as medical transcription, shipping preparation, phone coverage, and billing/pricing assistance What we're looking for: Previous laboratory experience is preferred but not required Strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt to the needs of different laboratory teams Basic computer skills required, with Microsoft Office experience preferred Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively, with a positive, flexible attitude in fast-paced team environments Candidates with experience as Veterinary Technicians, Medical Lab Technicians, Phlebotomists, healthcare professionals, or individuals seeking to gain laboratory experience are encouraged to apply To be considered for this R&D Lab Associate opening at IDEXX in Westbrook , please contact us using any of the methods below.
