Required Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in biology, genetics, molecular biology, cell biology, or related scientific field, or a combination of related education and relevant work experience to equal at least four years Molecular Techniques including DNA/RNA isolation from cells and tissues, PCR, Sanger-Sequencing, and downstream analysis of indel and site-specific base edits Experience in primary immune cell isolation and culturing from murine and human cells Immunoassay proficiency including flow cytometry and immunomagnetic isolations Ability to follow and contribute to standard operating procedure (SOP) development Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects Murine colony management preferred Cas9 driven engineering of primary murine and human cells preferred Ability to calculate enzymatic assay Vmax preferred
Job Duties:
60%
  • Perform primary immune cell and iPSC culturing, engineering, expansion, and preclinical testing under supervision and in accordance with established laboratory protocols and study procedures 5%
  • Assist with routine NSG mouse colony management activities, including monitoring, recordkeeping, and coordination of standard husbandry procedures following established guidelines 10%
  • Assist with protocol and SOP development, including documentation updates and refinement of existing laboratory procedures 10%
  • Support results compilation, preliminary data organization, and preparation of data summaries and presentations for supervisor and team review 10%
  • Conduct literature reviews and summarize scientific background information for project-related topics with guidance on scope and direction 5%
  • Perform routine laboratory maintenance, including cleaning, maintenance of water baths and standard laboratory equipment, and preparation of laboratory reagents according to established procedures Applications must be submitted online.
