We are seeking candidates with leadership abilities who are capable of garnering external funding and who could mentor faculty and doctoral students. Strong candidates will be emerging or established scholars with an impactful research program that will advance the current department's research strengths, related to exercise physiology, cardiovascular physiology, aging and related cardiovascular diseases, exercise and nutrition intervention clinical trials, and environmental cardiovascular physiology. The candidate will become an integral part of the kinesiology faculty with expectations to engage in independent and collaborative transdisciplinary research, aggressively seek funding opportunities, provide research mentorship for students, as well as teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and be involved in service responsibilities.

Appointment:

This is a full time, 9-month position with a start date of August 1, 2027. Eligible candidates will have tenure review upon hire. Salary, benefits, and compensation packages are competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
