Required Qualifications High School Diploma or Associate's Degree 0-3 years of relevant experience Basic computer skills - MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Good verbal and written communication skills Good interpersonal skills Basic problem-solving and root-cause analysis ability Mechanical aptitude Familiarity with basic quality-system concepts Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment Preferred Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field Chemistry or Engineering coursework Experience with chemical testing, manufacturing, coatings, or industrial processes Job Responsibilities Perform daily chemical testing and document test results Operate and maintain paint detackification systems used in automotive manufacturing Adjust chemical concentrations and process conditions as needed Operate chemical pumping and control systems Check chemical levels and change drums/totes as required Perform jar tests and washer checks Adjust pump feed rates, valves, and process flows Monitor and optimize separation equipment for paint-waste removal Assist with repair and maintenance of chemical feed pumps and application equipment Maintain chemical inventory and document chemical usage Perform basic troubleshooting and process adjustments Follow all site safety and chemical-handling procedures Work Environment This is a hands-on manufacturing floor position and can be messy/dirty.

Candidates must be comfortable with:

Standing/walking for extended periods Handling chemicals and industrial materials Moving chemical drums/totes using appropriate equipment Wearing required PPE, including gloves, safety glasses, face shields, aprons, and hearing protection Working around automotive manufacturing processes

Up to $25.00 per hour
