MGH-Air and Gas Tester Rheem Manufacturing - 3.6 Montgomery, AL Job Details Full-time 2 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description The Air and Gas Tester will serve our Water Heating Division, located in Montgomery, AL.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Visual inspection of tanks for leaks using air pressure or water or inspect gas lines for heater gas leaks before packaging. Must properly hook-up gas lines (L.P. or Natural gas) to units for leaks. Maintain good housekeeping in work area. Work from written or verbal orders. Observe all departmental safety requirements. Inspect units or parts for defects and workmanship. May work under extremely wet conditions. Practice and support Rheem values with internal as well as external customers. May be exposed to high noise levels, heat, dust and airborne particles. Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma/GED. The following test will be administered: Eye exam. Continuous lifting of 5-25 lbs. Frequent lifting of 25-60 lbs. Occasional lifting of 60+ lbs. Must be able to stand, walk and/or lift repetitively during shift. Must be able to frequently lift in unsupported positions as well as bend, twist/turn, reach, push/pull. Must be able to work in wet conditions. Must have vision level appropriate for inspection.
