Your mission: restore hot water and earn what you're worth Imagine a customer waking to a cold shower. You arrive, reassure them, and lay out clear choices—repair vs. replace, tank vs. tankless—explaining efficiency, performance, and long-term value. You close the job, deliver a neat, code-compliant installation, and leave the site spotless. Later, you review your call with AI-powered coaching tools to continually raise your close rate and your confidence. Some days bring after-hours emergencies, and you're ready—because getting people back to comfort is what you do. About the role As a Water Heating Systems Sales Technician, you'll combine hands-on technical work with solution-oriented selling for both residential and commercial customers. Key responsibilities Advise, recommend, and sell water heater replacements, filtration add-ons, and upgrades during service visits Close sales through transparent options, pricing, and value communication Install gas, electric, and tankless units safely and to code Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance Apply AI-powered sales coaching tools to analyze calls and strengthen selling skills Educate customers on efficiency, performance, and total lifecycle value Manage truck inventory, complete accurate job documentation, and maintain clean work areas Partner with dispatch and installers to ensure timely completion Support emergency calls with overtime as needed Comply with all company safety policies and procedures What sets you up for success Comfort asking for the sale; prior sales experience preferred 1+ year of relevant field experience (plumbing preferred) Strong communication and a customer-first approach Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform physically demanding work Growth mindset—coachable and open to feedback Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards Pay, perks, and support Hourly compensation plus weekly-paid commission incentives Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) with company match Health Savings Account (HSA) Company-provided service vehicle and gas card All tools, equipment, uniforms, and uniform laundering provided Life Insurance and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Grow with us We invest in your craft and your earning potential—balancing high standards for safety and quality with coaching and modern technology that help you succeed.
