A Day in the Life As a Full-Time Laboratory Technician based in our Denver, CO Laboratory , you'll step into the lab where every detail matters. You'll play a key role in prepping and handling samples, keeping records accurate, and maintaining a clean laboratory to support on-time results everyday. You'll collaborate with a strong team of committed professionals, contribute to meaningful scientific work, and grow your expertise in a dynamic, quality-driven environment. The compensation range for this role is $22.00 to $25.00 , commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.

Friday
  • Tues 12:30pm
  • 9pm Weekdays and 8:30am
  • 5pm on Weekends To thrive in this role, you'll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities: C apable of high-throughput preparation of environmental samples for metals testing.
P roficiency using analytical equipment including: balances, pipettes, bottle top dispensers, hot blocks, and volumetric/graduated glassware. ​ Daily monitoring of sample scheduling to ensure that samples are processed within EPA's and methods' holding time Schedule workload in order to process samples within clients expected due dates Routine sample preparation according to Standard Methods and EPA methods Performs analyst's review of data and QC Reviews of QA/QC criteria for batch acceptance Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures and follow safe work practices Participates in instruments' preventative maintenance and trouble shooting Participates in focus teams to improve efficiency Be flexible in work schedule including overtime when needed React to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned Performing other duties and responsibilities as prescribed by the Company Compliance with our Quality Assurance Program and other policies Your Expertise and Skills These requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here. High School Diploma Bachelor's degree in any science field is a plus Minimum 1 year of lab experience preferred Knowledge of general lab practices and lab safety Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques preferred (knowledge of PPE, use of balance, pipetting, glassware handling, etc.) Experience in metal preparation is a plus Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 25 lbs. Ability to remain in a stationary position for extensive periods of time Preferred Skills Knowledge of analytical method, analytical instruments, general lab practices and lab safety Must be flexible in work schedule and able to work overtime Good organizational and communication skills Ability to multi-task Ability to work independently and make sound decisions Onterris is a leading global environmental solutions company partnering with organizations to solve complex challenges where environmental pressures, regulatory expectations and operational risks intersect.
