Performs laboratory tests to determine chemical and physical characteristics of or composition of liquid or gaseous materials for such purposes as quality control, process control, or product development. Eligible candidates must be able to pass a drug screen and a background check. To be considered for the Chemical Mixer role, the candidate must have experience on a Forklift, ability to compute rate, ratio and percent as well as have manufacturing environment experience. Responsibilities of the

Chemical Mixer:

Maintains a clean work environment Adheres to safe usage and handling of chemicals Computes and adjusts mixture formulas when necessary Blends chemicals based on predetermined formulas Inspects batches to insure they are properly mixed Works with the lab to receive batch approval prior to the batch going to the fill room Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of department Analyzes work problems and assists in solving problems Suggests plans to achieve work goals Assist other departments when necessary Inspects materials and keep detailed inventory records to include chemical quantity and location
