Charles River Laboratories is seeking a Research Analyst I - Bioanalytical Chemistry to join our team. This entry-level laboratory role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with up to two years of laboratory experience who are looking to build a career in bioanalytical research. In this role, you will support scientific studies through sample processing, data collection, and laboratory testing while working in a regulated environment. You'll gain hands-on experience with analytical techniques, laboratory instrumentation, and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards while contributing to research that helps accelerate the development of life-changing therapies. What You'll Do Perform routine laboratory procedures and generate accurate scientific data with minimal supervision. Collect, document, and maintain research data in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), study protocols, and company policies. Process biological samples and prepare materials for analysis. Assist with sample receipt, tracking, storage, shipment, and archiving activities. Operate laboratory equipment and maintain accurate records of laboratory activities. Utilize laboratory software and data management systems to enter, review, edit, and report study data. Support study preparation activities, including collection tube labeling, inventory management, and laboratory setup. Review documentation for quality and compliance requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment. Under supervision, serve as a lead technician on routine studies. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related life sciences field. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record scientific data. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to follow written procedures, protocols, and technical instructions. Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team environment. Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred 0-2 years of laboratory experience in biology, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, CRO, or related scientific environments. Basic understanding of
