Job Description

About the Role As a Chemical Compounding Technician, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing operations by managing the precision blending of raw materials to create high-quality products. You will leverage your mechanical aptitude and attention to detail to ensure production efficiency, equipment reliability, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Execute batch production schedules by accurately weighing and loading raw materials into blending towers. Monitor mixing equipment performance and perform routine mechanical troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, proactively identifying hazards and housekeeping improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine production methods and optimize equipment efficiency. Conduct consistent quality inspections throughout the compounding process to ensure product consistency. Provide operational support to team members, including covering equipment monitoring during breaks. Participate in facility improvement projects and contribute to the design of new production workflows. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in material handling, mixing, or blending environments. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to perform precision measurements. Ability to perform physical tasks, including working in various outdoor weather conditions. Excellent communication and listening skills to thrive in a team-oriented setting. Commitment to following rigorous safety protocols and quality control procedures. Preferred Skills Experience operating powered industrial vehicles or forklifts. Background in food, beverage, or chemical manufacturing processes. Demonstrated ability to suggest and implement process improvements. Experience working in high-volume, 12-hour shift production environments.
