Full Job Description Job Summary:

Specializing in Skin Care, Cosmetics, and Hair Care, the Senior Compounder is responsible for leading and executing mass production batches, ensuring formulas are produced accurately, consistently, and according to quality standards. The Senior Compounder works closely with the Production Manager and Quality Assurance teams to ensure batches are completed safely, efficiently, and according to approved manufacturing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the preparation and compounding of a wide variety of formulations, for full-scale production, adhering to customer specifications and industry standards. Collaborate with the R D team to translate lab-scale formulations into scalable production processes, ensuring consistency and quality during scale-up. Optimize and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process improvements for production efficiency. Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all production processes, scale-ups, and procedures. Ensure that all production is calibrated and maintained in excellent working order. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with cGMP and regulatory guidelines. Support the development of production schedules and contribute to inventory management and material handling.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in compounding and manufacturing, preferably within the personal care or cosmetics industry. Proven experience with cGMP guidelines, OTC, and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing setting. Demonstrated experience in scaling up lab formulations to production-level batches. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot formulation and production issues. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Dexterity for handling small equipment and materials.

Working Conditions:

Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and the need for personal protective equipment (PPE). Some overtime may be required to meet production and project deadlines.

Pay:

$30.00 - $50.00 per hour
