- As an Analytical Chemist , your primary responsibilities will include:
- Prepare samples for analysis (weighing out, extraction solvent, dilution, etc.)
- Perform analysis on peptide finished products, raw materials, and intermediates using LCMS and HPLC instrumentation.
- Perform analysis on nutraceuticals (canned beverages, tablets, raw materials) using LCMS and HPLC instrumentation.
- Complete cross-training in either microbiology (ELISA) or ICP-MS heavy metals testing. Training will be provided from senior lab members
- Perform routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting
- Perform tasks on ancillary equipment such as pipette verification
- Recording data accurately into laboratory notebooks and Excel Spreadsheets
- Editing and reviewing SOP's when needed
- Participating in relevant QA activities
- Uploading sample results into LIMS software for Certificate of Analysis generation
- Assisting team members with various administrative tasks (data entry, schedule updates, etc.)
- Maintaining relevant laboratory inventory
Qualifications:
- BS degree in the Sciences, preferable in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, etc
- Minimum of two years of hands-on experience with instrumentation
- Strong quantitative skills
- High level of computer skills and familiarity with data acquisition software
- Strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills

$25.00- $35.
Pay:
$52,000.00- $72,800.
