4 weeks + (as needed)
Shift:
Full-time, day shift Hours will be Monday-Friday, 8 hours shift: 6AM-2:30PM (potentially first week or two later start at 7AM during initial training).
Payrate:
$ 25. We are seeking for immediate, hands-on Temporary Quality Control (QC) Chemist to support our laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will start strong, executing routine testing on raw materials, in-process samples and finished products while maintaining compliance with FDA cGMP regulations The QC Chemist ensures product compliance with the Company's number one priority of 123SQP (Safety, Quality, Productivity).
Key Responsibilities:
. Perform routine wet chemistry testing, including manual titrations, sample preparation . Conduct raw material identity testing using FTIR spectroscopy (including sample preparation and library matching) . Determine physical properties of sample, including pH, specific gravity and viscosity measurements . Accurately document all test results, calculations and raw data using company's ERP system . Follow established SOPs and document any unexpected results or out-of-specifications occurrences . Prepare laboratory and test samples as needed . Maintain clean laboratory work areas and assist with basic instrument calibrations . Collaborate with Production Team on the floor as needed to identify materials, verify correct quantities and troubleshoot discrepancies.
Qualifications:
. Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a closely related scientific discipline . 1+ years of industry experience in laboratory, preferably FDA regulated cGMP QC . Demonstrated proficiency with wet chemistry techniques . Hand-on experience operating FTIR instruments for identity testing . Solid understanding of GDP and laboratory safety protocols . Ability to work independently with minimal training using established written SOPs .
