Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Quantitative Metabolism Scientist to join our dynamic team. This is a Full-time permanent position at our client's site located in Groton, CT. Working within the Quantitative Metabolism group in ADME Sciences, the individual will support the client's small molecule portfolio by studying enzyme drug-drug interactions and providing metabolic stability assay support.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform in vitro studies with biological matrices, either by manually pipetting or through use of automated liquid handling systems. Perform bioanalysis of in vitro samples using LC-MS/MS or collaborate with the Bioanalytical team for sample analysis, depending on the specific in vitro study conducted. Conduct occasional assay troubleshooting with colleague oversight. Process data and generate reports. Review reports for quality. Contribute to general laboratory housekeeping tasks and duties. Maintain up to date electronic laboratory notebooks and records in accordance with the client's policy. Comply with all safety training and safe laboratory practices. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS and

EXPECTATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related discipline with 2+ years, or a Master's degree with 1+ year, of relevant laboratory experience in drug discovery, ADME, biology, or cell biology. This is not a Ph.D. level position. Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Computer proficiency and the ability to maintain accurate electronic records. Experience with manual pipetting, automated liquid handling systems, LC-MS/MS, or in vitro assays is a plus. On-site 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during core business hours (9 AM - 3 PM).

$25.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
