Job Description:
Quality Control Chemist(Fragrance) Overview Responsible for testing and evaluating fragrance raw materials, compounds, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Uses both sensory (odor) evaluations and analytical testing to maintain product consistency and compliance. Key Duties Quality testing of raw materials, fragrance compounds, and finished goods. Odor evaluations and comparison against approved standards. Analytical testing using GC and GC?MS. Documentation and data entry in SAP QM. Investigations of non?conforming materials and odor deviations. Equipment calibration and maintenance.
ISO 9001
support and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaboration with Production, Perfumery, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams. Requirements Prior fragrance industry experience. Knowledge of quality control processes, GMP, and ISO standards. Ability to perform odor evaluations and analytical testing. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
