Duties Accurately compound pharmaceutical products by following detailed manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and formulations. Handle industrial chemicals and pharmaceutical agents safely, utilizing proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as respiratory protection and chemical-resistant gloves. Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and other warehouse tools, to move raw materials and finished products efficiently. Maintain strict compliance with regulatory and legal standards related to pharmaceutical manufacturing, including documentation and record-keeping. Conduct routine equipment maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring machinery operates smoothly for consistent production quality. Follow safety protocols diligently during chemical agent handling, machining, packaging, and materials handling processes to prevent accidents or contamination. Assist in warehouse activities such as inventory management, storage organization, and shipping/receiving procedures aligned with GMP requirements. Skills Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency and reduce waste. Experience with pharmaceutical regulatory compliance standards, including USP Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate manufacturing machinery and perform basic troubleshooting or repairs. Familiarity with industrial chemical handling procedures and proper use of PPE such as respiratory protection. Competence in basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks during compounding processes. Understanding of manufacturing SOPs, safety protocols, and laboratory practices specific to pharmaceutical or industrial chemical environments.
