Manufacturing Scientist/Quality Control Chemist Intern - Clinton, Indiana (Summer 2027) As a Summer 2027 Manufacturing Scientist/Quality Control Intern with Elanco Animal Health, you will be part of the Quality Control Lab team at our Clinton, Indiana manufacturing plant , to deliver a practical solution to reducing analytical variability, a technical project, or implementation of new lab methods. Interns will have exposure to many career path s and diverse subject matter experts as many projects have site-wide impact.Your Responsibilities:
Understand the m anufacturing process, document using GMP guidelines, and understand the importance of the Quality Unit Work within cross-functional teams to implement process or Quality Control lab improvements Learn about quality control, fermentation, product recovery, product finishing, or packaging Study design improvement processes What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):Education :
Currently enrolled in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a similar major. Top S kills : Experience in Microsoft Suites and a willingness to learn What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications): Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills Must be able to work exceptionally well independently and with minimal supervisionAdditional Information:
