Entry-Level Scientific (Chemistry/Biology) Collaborative, LLC - 3.5 Gretna, LA Job Details Temp-to-hire $19 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Qualifications Bachelor's degree Full Job Description Overview This position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with laboratory experience to develop their skills in a regulated environment. The successful candidate will support analytical testing, quality control, and method development activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Duties Conduct routine analytical testing using laboratory instruments such as spectrophotometers, Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectrometers, and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) systems to analyze raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. Perform sample preparation procedures, including extraction, filtration, and dilution, adhering to established protocols. Assist in method validation and transfer activities to ensure analytical procedures meet regulatory standards such as FDA regulations, ICH guidelines, and GMP requirements. Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment regularly to ensure accurate measurements and reliable results. Support laboratory compliance by documenting experiments accurately within Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and ensuring adherence to GLP and CGMP standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline; relevant internship or laboratory experience preferred. Familiarity with laboratory instruments such as spectrophotometers, microscopes, and chromatographs. Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and pharmaceutical regulatory compliance including FDA regulations and ICH guidelines. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for accurate documentation. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
