EyeCRO is the leader in contract preclinical ophthalmic research. We specialize in ocular pharmacology and pharmacokinetic studies. We are looking for a Senior Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for participating in a wide variety of laboratory-based activities related to advancing drug development for novel therapeutics to treat various forms of blindness. Key Responsibilities:
- Animal procedures - Includes microsurgery/microdissection and various ocular injection methods including intravitreal, subretinal, intracameral, suprachoroidal, subconjunctival
- In-vivo experimental assays including optokinetic tracking, electroretinography, optical coherence tomography, fundoscopy, intraocular pressure measurement
- Study design - Able to design, organize and implement/conduct experiments as well as troubleshoot and optimize protocols/SOPs
- Data analysis/presentation/interpretation
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working in an ophthalmology or vision research laboratory
- Experience with small animal ophthalmic assays and microsurgical techniques
- >5 years of experience working in a research laboratory
- >5 years of experience working with laboratory animals (mouse/rat preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
D. or Master's degree in a biology related field
