In this role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring product quality and regulatory compliance through rigorous analytical testing and method development. Your expertise will contribute to the development, validation, and implementation of analytical procedures that support our commitment to deliver timely and verifiable data to our clients . This position offers an exciting opportunity to improve and master techniques using ICP-MS, with focus on drinking, surface and wastewater, soil and tissue, VOCs, metals and PFAS, making a tangible impact on public health. Duties Conduct comprehensive chemical analyses using techniques such as high-performance instrumentation to ensure product quality and compliance. Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods in accordance with

EGLE, ISO

17025, DoD/ELAP regulations and certifications. Perform sample preparation, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory instruments including spectrophotometers, chromatographs, microscopes, and other specialized equipment to ensure accurate results. Maintain meticulous documentation of experimental procedures, calibration records, validation reports, and laboratory data within Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). Support quality control processes by executing routine testing, troubleshooting analytical issues, and implementing corrective actions to uphold laboratory compliance. Assist in laboratory equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to guarantee optimal instrument performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on method transfer projects, regulatory submissions, and audits to ensure adherence to industry standards. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology or related scientific field with hands-on experience in an environmental laboratory. Demonstrated proficiency in analytical chemistry techniques including

HPLC, LC-MS/MS

(liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry), GC-MS (gas chromatography-mass spectrometry), FTIR spectroscopy, microbiology methods, and biochemical laboratory techniques. Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for data tracking and documentation. Knowledge of method validation processes including accuracy, precision, specificity, sensitivity, robustness and reproducibility assessments. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot instrumentation issues efficiently. Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining compliance standards.
