An Analytical Chemist studies the chemical components of materials in a mixture or sample, to identify the components and quantify them. May work to develop new pharmaceutical products or provide quality control or toxicology testing for products.
Onsite Responsibilities Conduct lab experiments under supervision to support analytical chemistry functions. Perform trace impurity analysis using
U/HPLC-MS/PDA/FLR, GC-MS/FID.
Collaborate with team members to develop solutions for chemistry-related issues. Assist in identifying root causes of drug degradation and impurities. Contribute to the development and revision of procedures and documentation. Communicate project status and results to Product Chemistry team and stakeholders. Participate in problem-solving teams to enhance product quality. Ensure adherence to GxP processes, data integrity, and documentation standards. Maintain all required training for assigned activities. Follow EHS and safety protocols. Support validation and maintenance of laboratory equipment as needed. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field. Experience with analytical techniques such as UPLC-MS, HPLC, GC-MS, PDA, FLR, and FID. Strong problem-solving skills in chemistry and data analysis. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Good documentation and communication skills. Knowledge of GxP and safety compliance standards.
