Seeking an Associate Scientist to perform routine analytical testing using LC- and CE-based methods, including sample preparation, instrument operation, data analysis, and documentation.Position Summary:
Support Analytical Development Chemistry activities for AAV programs. The primary focus of this role is hands-on laboratory execution of liquid chromatography (LC), capillary electrophoresis (CE) and Biophysical assays to support product characterization and process development. Perform routine analytical testing using LC- and CE-based methods, including sample preparation, instrument operation, data analysis, and documentation. Execute established analytical methods and assist with method optimization, qualification, and transfer activities. Maintain accurate laboratory records, notebooks, protocols, and reports. Prepare buffers, reagents, standards, and critical laboratory solutions. Support laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance, inventory management, and troubleshooting. Follow SOPs, and safety procedures. Must comply with all HSE, data integrity, and quality requirements. Must adhere to laboratory SOPs, risk assessments, safe work practices, and incident reporting procedures. Proper use of PPE and safe handling of biological materials, chemicals, and laboratory equipment is required. Must comply with applicable documentation practices, electronic systems, and data integrity requirements. Standard laboratory PPE is required, including safety glasses, a lab coat, and appropriate gloves. Additional PPE may be required based on task-specific risk assessments, such as respiratory protection, face shield, cryogenic gloves, or hearing protection.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related scientific discipline. 3+ years of laboratory experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or related fields. Hands-on experience with LC and CE techniques for at least 2 year, prefer > 3 years. Experience with data analysis and technical documentation. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment. Detail-oriented laboratory scientist with strong analytical skills and experience working in a regulated environment. A proactive team player who fosters collaboration, communicates effectively, and contributes positively to a high-performing team culture.Benefits:
