The CSMC organization is looking to add a Process Chemistry Specialist to the Material Control Laboratory (MCL) team. The Process Chemistry Specialist - MCL will perform chemistry related testing in support of production for major rotating hardware. The Process Chemistry Specialist - MCL will be responsible for process solution and raw material testing procedures, maintaining required testing schedules in a manufacturing production environment, and quality documentation of all materials and processes. Interpretation of specifications, procedures, and laboratory manuals to assess what testing is required and conformance to requirements is a critical aspect of this position. Gather samples and perform wet chemistry testing including titrations, pH reading, and stock loss testing. Prepare samples and perform raw material testing utilizing established test methods and techniques. Interact regularly with Production Operations and Engineering to address Process Solution issues and collaborate on effective root cause and corrective action for manufacturing-related issues. Contribute by utilizing the CORE tools and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide clear, concise, and accurate lab report; maintain records according to procedure. Monitor testing frequency of all shop processes. Investigate various parts and process related problems and own and maintain chemistry lab standard work documentation. Have availability for occasional off-shift and weekend coverage based on business needs.Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science or related field and minimum 5 years experience in an aerospace, chemicals, materials, manufacturing operations, quality or related environment OR a Masters Degree and minimum 3 years' experience in an aerospace, chemicals, materials, manufacturing operations, quality or related environment Proficiency inMicrosoft Office Products:
Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Working knowledge of AS9100 Knowledge and understanding of root cause investigations, corrective actions and problem solvingQualifications We Prefer:
Prior hands-on experience in chemical process solutions and mechanical testing techniques Experience with PWA specifications and evaluations to MCL Manual Sections Demonstrated proficiency in chemical processing and lab testing equipment, including ICP-OES and AAS Please ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role.This position is classified as:

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
